there's about to be a bit of an overhaul here. a lot of moving things to scraps, hopefully a lot of updating with what I've been doing for the last long while.

everything is changing very quickly, sometimes, it seems.

something about the format of this bothers me, makes updating more of an undertaking than it should be. all the categorizing and describing and thought processes are too much for this idiot girl.

also, the university of chicago owns my soul.

also, in the coming weeks I will be directing a theatrical adaptation of Eva Svankmajerova's Surrealist novel, Baradla Cave.

and now a flurry of submissions (ha, like my life, perhaps). the images are all fairly small, but I also have gigantic monstrously huge versions of almost all of them, so if you really want to see something larger/as a print, let me know.

also, I'm slowwwwwly going through my watchlist, and through my gallery. Hopefully there'll be a spurt of uploading soon as well. We'll see.

I'm in the process of going through old pictures/this gallery and figuring out what's worth keeping. I expect it'll end up a bit unbalanced, with plenty more scraps than finished pieces.

Talking to a couple of people here about having them model for me. I met some people through the school sex/art magazine I recently modeled for, that should be promising. Basically, maybe I'll actually do something. Rumours of collaborative projects with a few people, but who knows.

It's hard(er) to find time for my various half-baked projects here; it's at times rough even keeping up a social life with the work. I do like it here though. Things have been rocky lately due to a pretty heart-wrenching breakup (long-term, long-distance longing mess), but I look forward to Spring Quarter and assorted things. Also, trips coming up to New Orleans and Pittsburgh. So yeah.
